I LOVE COCO

This weekend was the beauty pop-up shop of Chanel at Bar Marmont titled, "I Love Coco" which I attending with one of my great friends.

At every corner something is happening on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, everyone is constantly searching for the next big thing. This weekend was the beauty pop-up shop of Chanel at Bar Marmont titled, "I Love Coco" which I attending with one of my great friends.

Immediately as you entered Bar Marmont you came across a table of Chanel monogram pins and an "I Love Coco" logo screwed on a wall with exposed brick. At the beginning you'd probably get lost throughout the insanely crowded venue.

There were many activities that could be done throughout the event itself, such as temporary tattoos with designs that included "Coco [insert heart here] LA" and luscious red lips, that many people had plastered on their necks. Attending this event would be best done without a fresh manicure due to the fact that you could get them get them done with a color of your choosing - following a complementary photo on a white booth that was emailed to you. After, you could wait in line between a narrow hallway, while people are constantly racing through to get to the lip section of the event, just to take a few goofy pictures of yourself - they were actually quite cute.

The entire lounge was decorated in Chanel monogram and lights shaped as the products of their beauty line, the bar had over-sized bottles of Chanel N5 on their glass shelves where the alcohol was kept. Many people were quite disappointed due to the fact that alcohol wasn't being served until 7 pm (It was around 5 PM) and even though I legally can't drink alcohol I was still disappointed because the bartender gave me the wrong drink, I was given sparking water when I asked for regular. I didn't want to bitch about it because he was quite busy attending everyone, plus I didn't want to be annoying.

You could definitely feel it in the air - the amount of hard work that was put into this event to give an amazing presentation for Chanel's attendees, something that not very many people notice but is important to acknowledge.
