(FALL)ING

It’s fall and the trees are gently letting go of their crunchiest leaves for us to have fun with. I’m kidding. That’s completely unrealistic in California during September; I say the cold and tree crunching will arrive until November.

We’re officially here. It’s fall and the trees are gently letting go of their crunchiest leaves for us to have fun with. I’m kidding. That’s completely unrealistic in California during September; I say the cold and tree crunching will arrive until November. It happens every year and is completely inconvenient for my wardrobe. But like everything in life, I manage.

A lot has happen during September; Zayn released his book of photographs and personal stories for pre-order on Amazon and Barnes and Noble, Fashion Week begun with Marc Jacobs ending [NYFW] with an idiotic response to his use of dreads and my grades already gave a drastic turn for the worst. Who knew that all I’d want to do after school is sleep, sleep and sleep?

Except I’m not done, I’ve received a million pregnancy announcements (one of which is my best friend) and can’t seem to stop myself from continually buying books. I purchased Grace Coddington’s Memoir, which I’m highly excited to read but have to wait until it comes with Zayn’s book (11/7/16, dear lord help.) I’m broke so I wasn’t necessarily up for paying $10 extra for separate shipments.

I desperately attempted to obtain an issue of LOVE Magazine 16.5, which is a special edition issue featuring Madonna, but ultimately failed at it. Tell me why LOVE Magazine couldn’t sell both issue 16 and 16.5 together in a bundle? I feel personally attacked as a customer.

My acquaintances think I’m insane for spending such large sums of money on books and magazines and CD’s but it’s something that I genuinely enjoy. I love having a physical copy; it makes me feel like no one in the world can take it from me. I’ve also heavily considered going phone-free (which might be the reason of my choice of purchasing so many physical copies of everything that I love). I highly doubt it’ll happen but who knows? I’ll always end up needing somewhere to look at Madonna’s SEX book.
